November 2007 Fund Raising at Morrisons Supermarket, Leominster
Club Members raised money by standing outside Morrisons' store in Leominster with a two day collection. Funds were raised for a disabled Leominster man, Stephen Edwards.
The specially built wheelchair with large inflatable tyres is to help him over all kinds of terrain.
The club raised over £2,500 towards the cost of the wheelchair. The Lions Local District 105W and the Mervin Bennett Trust also donated £600 towards the project. |
